Hope is about believing in something better, even when circumstances make that difficult... We work to make hope apparent in the lives of those in need of it most. Our acts of charity seek to make hope more than just optimism and positive thinking - but an active ingredient for well-being and success in life.
Since 2006, our organization has aspired to live out the dream of our namesake, Virginia Maitland Sachs. Mrs. Maitland Sachs dedicated her life to bringing hope to others by organizing and conducting acts of selfless giving in her community, particularly in her beloved home of New York City. As a tribute to her life - and to carry on her mission - Virginia's House of Hope reaches out to area schools and local organizations to bring aid, comfort and happiness to children and families in need. We know the power hope can have in a person's life, and we strive to provide that to as many people as possible.
A modest offering of charity can lift one's spirits, and help to turn things around. By delivering meals, clothing or other gifts of life's necessities, we do our part to shine a light of hope for others.
